I am tired of hearing about the next great diet on the market. Every time that I turn around I am hit in the face with a new diet that promises miracle results. This usually results in disappointment for me as I expect something on the biblical scale when it comes to miracle diets. I would love to meet the person who coined that name, regardless I want to share a little insight into this diet that is as close to a miracle as you will come.

The reason for the name is because it is so simple to follow even an idiot can follow it. Now you will ask yourself how come this diet seems to work and my hot pepper and liquid refreshment diet seems to fail. First there are two reasons for this failure. The first reason is because there are diets out there that are just no good and will never lead to you losing weight no matter how hard you try to. The other big reason is because your body stops the progress that a diet will cause when you are on a diet. We are have natural stores of fat, we keep a supply around if we are stuck with no food. Our body can burn this fat to keep us going, when it detects a loss of calories being taken in is slows our metabolism down and as a result we burn fat a lot slower resulting in no loss of weight and sometimes an increase in weight.

The idiot proof diet is a diet that consist of switching the amount of calories that you need to take in around so your body has no idea what is going on. One day you may have a low calorie intake the next a higher intake. This will keep your body in the mode that you are not dieting and as a result will continue to burn calories at a higher pace. Many people are fooled by other diets that tell them to cut this food out of their diet or to eat more of this one food. This will just place your body in a state of chaos and as a result will lead to negative results for your diet goals.

I can say that I have known people that have tried the idiot proof diet, and they are able to say that they lost a nice amount of weight that in the end made their weight loss goals a reality and also put them on the fast track to felling better about themselves and their appearance. It is no secret that when you look good you feel good and this leads to you having a positive outlook on life as a result.
